Family worship: Psalm 18:1-12
Private worship: Numbers 33:50-34:29, Joel 2:18-27, Psalm 148, 1 Timothy 5:1-6:2
Discussion questions: What does Psalm 18 say about God’s power? What do these passages say about God? What do these passages say about me? What do these passages say about the relationship between God and me?
PRAY
Adoration: God is holy, mighty, gracious, and merciful. Spend time declaring your love for Him.
Confession: Continually confessing your sins to God and asking for His forgiveness will keep you from taking the great price Christ paid on the cross for granted.
Thanksgiving: Express your thankfulness to God for the blessings He has given you. When we consider that we deserve punishment because of our sinfulness, and instead God gives to us His love and mercy, our only response should be one of thankfulness.
Supplication: Pray for those who are sick and need physical healing. Ask God to show you how to see and respond to the needs of others.
SING
