Family worship: Psalm 18:25-34
Private worship: Deuteronomy 14, Hosea 11:1-11, Proverbs 7, Philemon 1-3
Discussion questions: Where does Psalm 18 say that our strength comes from? What do these passages say about God? What do these passages say about me? What do these passages say about the relationship between God and me?
PRAY
Adoration: God is holy, mighty, gracious, and merciful. Spend time declaring your love for Him.
Confession: Continually confessing your sins to God and asking for His forgiveness will keep you from taking the great price Christ paid on the cross for granted.
Thanksgiving: Express your thankfulness to God for the blessings He has given you. When we consider that we deserve punishment because of our sinfulness, and instead God gives to us His love and mercy, our only response should be one of thankfulness.
Supplication: Pray for missionaries spreading the message of Christ throughout the United States. Pray that they will have boldness to declare the Good News. Pray that God will meet all of their needs. Ask God to show you how to see and respond to the needs of others.
SING
